Sheppard Pratt: Offsite Student Counseling Program

Sheppard Pratt provides 8-week early intervention groups for students to support their social/emotional growth.

With support from the CHRC, Sheppard Pratt has enhanced services for their Offsite Student Counseling Program for  Frederick County Public Schools.

Their licensed therapists provide in-school individual and family therapy. They also provide in-home family therapy as needed, with a continuation of care through school holidays and summer break.

Sheppard Pratt's overall goal is to ensure all students can receive mental health services and, by providing treatment in and out of schools, they eliminate a variety of barriers including transportation, scheduling conflicts with guardians work or other family priorities.

They also offer urgently needed emergency psychiatric services, co-payment assistance, and clinical case management on a limited basis. Sliding scale payment for uninsured students may be available as funding allows.

Parent/Guardians and Self referrals can be made by calling 443-761-5990, you can also find additional details on their program at Off-Site Counseling | Care Finder | Sheppard Pratt.
