Family Care Coordination for Disengaged Students Program
Providing support for families with students with chronic absenteeism.
Family Care Coordination is provided by Villa Maria Behavioral Health/Catholic Charities of Baltimore to students enrolled in select public schools in Frederick County. Services are provided to students and families after school hours. Referrals are accepted from school counsellors. Please contact your local school counselling office to inquire if this service is available for your student.
What The Program Provides
Help students get back on track with school attendance and classroom engagement.
Includes a student and family assessment to identify strengths and areas of need.
Access to services and needed resources.
Motivational tools to decrease struggles with school and increase active participation.
Support to identify strategies that will lead to improved school attendance.
Support helpful communication between families and the school.
